MaBeGroMo: The aftermath.

Date March 27, 2008

So I decided back in november that I was going to take part in MaBeGroMo. If you look back you can find the before picture as I am too lazy to fish it up for this post.

All went well, I started growing the beard in early november. It got very mixed receptions, most girls hated it, some loved it. I never got carded for anything, and people always came running to me with questions about anything and everything. People would stop me all the time to ask for directions, while I was walking. (I don’t quite understand the concept of asking someone on foot for driving directions.) Anyway after much complaining by a few people the entire length of MaBeGroMo I decided to shave it on march 23rd at the earliest. The beard made a nice 6 month run, with me only trimming it 3 times for job interviews and such.

Here are the most recent pictures of the beard that had come to be known and loved as “The Castro.” I was reluctant to shave it, but it gives me the chance to regrow the Leonidas.

Dude! How did I miss this? Gah. Now I feel like an idiot for posting a comment three months late. You have indeed earned the badge of MaBeGroMo Champion!

It happens to the best of us, Perhaps I should have added a trackback. That beardless thing only lasted about 2 days.
